Decks & Porches

Decks, Porches & Pergolas

Decks & Porches extend the living area of a home into the beauty of the outdoors, increasing both the available living space and the relaxation benefits of indoor-outdoor flow for your family.

We can advise you on the best materials & design for your space & needs, be it residential or commercial.

Step 1 - Meet & Design

First we'll meet to discuss your project, and measure your space and discuss your ideas / options for deck materials and design, and discuss whether or not your deck or porch will require council consent before proceeding. If required, we may handle the consent process for your project.

Step 2 - Choose Materials

There are a lot of choices in decking materials depending on your style, budget, environmental ethics, maintenance abilities, and durability requirements.

WOOD-PLASTIC COMPOSITE (WPC) DECKING

ModWood WPC Decking

ModWood is New Zealand’s ONLY CodeMark Certified WPC Decking

Composite Decking – ModWood WPC (Wood Plastic Composite) Composite decking is water and rot proof, resistant to mould, fungi and other traditional problems facing timber decking. Made using a combination of wood and plastic, it is easily maintained with either a pressure cleaner or just soapy water, for durability that lasts years without losing its colour or form.

It comes in a wide variety of colours and this reversible decking has two sides - so you may choose smooth or textured installation to suit your style & location.

WPC decking is designed to be able to be installed with the KlevaKlick system, removing any potential for exposed nail heads. The material doesn't splinter, and with this and the lack of nails, ModWood provides a much safer and more comfortable deck experience with little to no maintenance.

Step 4 - Schedule & Build

Once the details have been determined, we're ready to schedule your build and start the building project through to completion.

If you require any additional features for your deck, such as lighting, pergola extension, in-built seating, or any other features, we'll build them all at the same time and organise any subcontractors that may be required to certify the additional features.

“Josh and his guys did a great job of our Kwila deck and made some cool features of it. they turned up on the date we had booked them and was complete with in the week more than happy to put a review up thanks again.”
